We are committed to supporting pets and their people in our community, and keeping pets in loving and safe homes.
If you are struggling to feed your pet, we are here to help!
Our Pet Pantry is held at the Grass Valley Animal Shelter, 556B Freeman Lane every Saturday from 12- 2.
Food Assistance:
Free food assistance is available for spayed and neutered pets, and there are no income restrictions. If you need help getting your pet spayed or neutered, please contact us!

DONATE to the Pet Pantry

To donate to our Pet Pantry, please drop off food, treats, or cat litter to the Grass Valley Shelter at 556B Freeman Lane from Tuesday through Saturday 12 - 4 pm. 

*We do not accept expired items.

Many of the photographs on our website were taken by Therese Hukill DeRock. For years, Therese has been very active with local shelters and rescues and has an incredible skill of capturing the personality of the dogs and cats to promote them for adoption.
